Cody Simpson wows girlfriend Marloes Stevens with his culinary skills

He’s the pop star-turned swimmer who recently competed at the Australian Swimming Trials for a chance at Olympic glory in Tokyo.

And on Thursday night, Cody Simpson, 24, revealed he’s also a dab hand in the kitchen when he wowed girlfriend Marloes Stevens with his culinary skills. 

In the clip shared to Marloes Instagram, Cody can be seen handing the 28-year-old model a plate filled with an assortment of cooked vegetables and rice.

In the background, the blonde stunner is heard saying, ‘Thank you,’ before Cody replies, ‘You’re welcome.’ 

Marloes wrote alongside the footage, ‘I’m dating a chef!’ and tagged her boyfriend. 

It’s not the first time Cody has shared his adventures in the kitchen. 

Last week, the genetically blessed musician had some fans worried when he shared a photo of Marloes crying.

Cody posted the image to his Instagram Stories, showing the beauty with red eyes and looking downcast.  

In a poll on the page, he asked his fans to pick between ‘we had a fight’ and ‘she chopped onions’ as the possible reasons for her tears. 

Almost 90 per cent of fans guessed that Marloes had been cutting up onions, with about 10 per cent thinking the pair had an argument.

Cody quickly solved the mystery, sharing a further image of onions cooking in a frying pan – an indication her tears were harmlessly caused by the fumes. 

Cody confirmed his romance with Marloes when they stepped out with their arms wrapped around each other in Los Angeles in November last year. 

He made their union Instagram official when the couple posed for a loved-up Christmas snap in December.
