At least three explosions have hit the centre of Kyiv as Vladimir Putin’s troops continue with their aerial onslaught against the Ukrainian capital. Blasts were heard in the city’s Shevchenkivskiy district on Monday morning.
The explosions reportedly occurred at around 7.00am local time (5.00am GMT).
Clips on social media appear to show one explosion taking place near Kyiv’s railway station.
According to the Guardian, Ukraine’s state railway chief Alexander Kamyshin also revealed that the shelling struck near Kyiv’s central station.
Shevchenkivskiy was previously hit by explosions on October 10.

Responding to reports of explosions, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said: “The explosion in the Shevchenkiv district – in the centre of the capital.
“All services follow in place. Details later.
“The air alert continues. Stay in shelters!”
Klitschko, who lost to British-born orthodox Lennox Lewis during his boxing career in 2003, added: “As a result of the drone attack, a fire broke out in a non-residential building in the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv.

“More weapons to defend the sky and destroy the enemy. So be it.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin said the strikes which were carried out last week were in retaliation for the bombing of a key bridge linking Russia to occupied Crimea.
He also blamed Kyiv for the bridge attack.
