A van driver today barged his way through a group of environmental protesters who were blocking a busy London junction. Others have stripped demonstrators of their banners and dragged them off obstructed roads.
Activists from the Just Stop Oil group were blocking a road in Knightsbridge.
Footage shows more than a dozen individuals sat in the middle of the busy junction, wearing fluorescent vests and holding large banners displaying their group’s name.
The van driver can be seen approaching the blockade, which, by this point, is standing and asking them to move out of his way.
When they fail to comply, he drives forward slowly, forcing the demonstrators aside.
One female activist can be heard asking: “Can you not do this.”
