Rachel Emily replied: “If you have a heated airer you can cut the drying time (and therefore the electricity bill) if you chuck a big sheet, duvet cover or coats or towels over the top of it.
“Traps the heat and everything dries quicker! If you’re in the house just rotate the sheet a couple of times and it will dry even faster.”
Lisa Julia Bowers said: “Condenser tumble dryer. I’ve always used one to dry all my clothes and towels bedding etc.”
Susan Marmon commented: “I have a laundry maid hanging from the ceiling in my stairwell. I can hang all my towels, sheets, bedding and even quilts and it’s out of the way!
