Mrs Hinch is a cleaning influencer with more than four million Instagram followers. She rose to fame after sharing her cleaning tips and tricks with fans on social media.
One person said: “Bleach the whole thing, will be silver again… I use it all the time. I have the exact same sink too.”
Another Mrs Hinch fan agreed. They said: “Thin bleach, works every time for me. Just pour some into the dunk with plug in and watch it lift the stain away. Quick rinse with cold water and cloth. Job done.”
One person said: “I clean plenty like this. Bleach and a scouring sponge then leave for a while and rinse and dry.”
Other cleaning enthusiasts recommended chemical solutions such as Viakal and Cif.
One person simply said: “Cif stainless steel spray.”
Another Mrs Hinch fan said: “Use some Astonish cup cleaner and hot water, leave it in for about an hour then wipe clean, looks good as new.”
A plethora of natural methods were also advised, including one involving baking soda.
One cleaning enthusiast posted a video of them creating a paste with baking soda and Fairy Liquid, before they spread the paste all over the sink with a brush.
They let it sit for 10 minutes before scrubbing it off with a sponge, leaving them with a sparkling silver sink.
Another Mrs Hinch fan said: “Hot water and biological washing powder. Leave to soak for about half an hour.”
Another person added: “Fill the sink with water and put washing powder in and leave for a few hours.”
One person said: “Bottle of regular Coco-Cola.”
