Mark Dolan, 48, took aim at Sir Keir Starmer, 60, yesterday as he warned voters to be “careful” before putting the Labour leader in Number 10. Sir Keir currently has the chance to become Labour’s first Prime Minister since Gordon Brown, 71, as support for the Conservative Party continues to plummet in the opinion polls.
However, Mr Dolan suggested that the Leader of the Opposition might not have the solutions to Britain’s current economic challenges.
Speaking on his GB News show, Mr Dolan said: “I won’t take any lectures from Labour squealing about our current economic situation, given that Sir Keir Starmer, the cervix-free Leader of the Opposition, begged for this economic damage when he pushed so hard for lockdowns.
“He wanted more, for longer. He wanted circuit-breaker lockdowns and called ‘Freedom Day’ in July of last year reckless.”
“If Labour were in power now we would likely be getting ready for more Covid measures this winter, potentially with more vaccine tyranny, more masking and more businesses closed down and more schools shutting up shop.”

Mr Dolan added: “Having supported the disastrous Covid measures, far from being the solution, Labour are the problem.
“Along with Tory rebels, Labour had enough votes to stop lockdowns but they did not and they called for more.
“A Labour Government in two years’ time would mean five years of big spending, big debt, high tax and low growth.
“If you think things are bad now a Labour Government would be out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The Liberal Democrats could bolster their representation in Parliament to 39 and the SNP would fall down to 37.
Chancellor Jeremy Hunt, Levelling Up Secretary Simon Clarke, Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg, Health Secretary Therese Coffey, Transport Secretary Anne-Marie Trevelyan, Work & Pensions Secretary Chloe Smith, and Welsh Secretary Sir Robert Buckland would be among the Conservative casualties from Liz Truss’ Cabinet.
