    James Maddison

Spurs have several world-class finishers but not as many top quality creators. Conte’s side have failed to create enough chances in recent weeks, and need an individual capable of feeding Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Richarlison.

Leicester star James Maddison is capable of stepping up to a top six side having impressed for a struggling Leicester team this season. The playmaker has perhaps outgrown the Foxes and is due a big transfer.

Arsenal reportedly showed an interest in Maddison during the summer, but did not make a bid. Spurs’ North London rivals instead preferred a move for Portuguese youngster Fabio Vieira.

That could open the door for Spurs to pursue Maddison. The 25-year-old, who has scored five goals and provided two assists for bottom-placed Leicester, could see a big-six transfer as a chance to earn international recognition.
