Tiffany Haddish surprises fans with an impromptu performance of Proud Mary

While Tiffany Haddish is best known for her comedy and her acting, she put her singing skills on display during an impromptu performance.

The 41-year-old actress was on a double date with her boyfriend Common and Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy at Delilah at the Wynn in Las Vegas.

At some point during the evening, Haddish decided to get up on stage and perform, singing hits such as Proud Mary and more (via TMZ).

Double  date: The 41-year-old actress was on a double date with her boyfriend Common and Chelsea Handler and Jo Koy at Delilah at the Wynn in Las Vegas

Handler and Koy captured video from the performance and posted on their Instagram stories.

Haddish was in a black top with black pants and shoes as she belted out tunes on stage with the jazz band.

At one point, she even laid down on the stage and was kicking her legs up on stage, much to the amusement of her friends.

She was also seen dancing with another man while her friends kept laughing along.

She reportedly got a standing ovation after performing Proud Mary, and it’s not the first time she’s put on an impromptu performance.

She belted out tunes during a pop-up show in Thanksgiving 2020 and she also sang during a 2020 Golden Globes after-party.

Haddish made headlines earlier this summer when she revealed that she had her first orgasm to the 1997 Nicolas Cage film Face/Off.

 ‘So basically, I was at the movie theater seeing Face/Off, I was about 17 years old, on a date with this guy, and nobody else was in the theater really,’ she said.

She said they started making out and it was her, ‘first time being fiddled with,’ adding she was, ‘achieving a momentous moment that I never achieved in my life, I opened my eyes and the eyes of Nicolas Cage are looking into my eyes.’

She added her brain was ‘going crazy’ and that she had to tell him the story so she could get it out of her head.

When asked how Cage reacted to the story, Haddish said, ‘He laughed super hard and he goes, “You know, my first wife, she saw me in a movie and she said she was gonna marry me and we ended up getting married.”‘
