Dermot O’Leary was left red-faced on Friday’s This Morning as Josie Gibson provocatively rode a broomstick during the competition segment.

The presenter, 48, looked distinctly awkward and was forced to turn away as the roving reporter, 36, grunted and thrusted on her stick while hosting the Halloween-themed Dosh on your Doorstep game.

Former X Factor host Dermot moaned: ‘I can’t get this out of my head!’ and begged her to stop as Josie, dressed as a witch, pretended to fly through the sky.

Josie was in her element as she threw herself into the task at hand while she simulated riding on the broomstick on her way to a competition winner’s home.

Complimenting her on her flying skills, co-presenter Alison Hammond, 46, remarked: ‘I love the way she’s riding her broom! I absolutely love it!’

But the presenter soon burst into giggles as Dermot lost his cool next to her and put his head in his hands before eventually turning away altogether.

He then exclaimed: ‘Josie, you have to stop. I can’t get this out of my head!’

Meanwhile, Josie, who at this point was quite out of breath, continued to ‘ride’ her broomstick, obvious to the discomforted she’d caused Dermot.

Tuning into the show, viewers were left tickled by the scenes as they rushed to Twitter to comment on Josie’s eye-opening performance.
