This Morning was pulled from ITV’s schedule on Tuesday morning after Rishi Sunak was appointed the nation’s new leader. Former Prime Minister Liz Truss is expected to make a speech at 10.15am and Sunak is due to make his own statement at 11.35am. The key Government updates fall during This Morning’s regular broadcasting hours, between 10am and 12.30pm, which is why it has been cancelled.
