E! News hosts Kym Whitely and Morgan Stewart discussed reports from The Sun that Prince Charles will not meet with Prince Harry when he returns to the UK for the unveiling of Princess Diana’s statue at Kensington Palace. But Kym Whitely exploded at the future king stating he has no reason to be angry at Harry considering what he put him through when he was younger. Morgan Stewart then intervened and added there should have been conversations between Harry and Meghan for what should and should not be discussed in future interviews regarding the Royal Family.

Speaking on E News’ Daily Pop, the hosts debated the story that Charles and Harry will not meet for the Diana statue unveiling.

The unveiling, due to be held on July 1, will showcase a statue commissioned by Harry and William which has been several years in the making.

The statue will be installed at Kensington Palace, which served as the Princess of Wales main residence while she was a working member of the Royal Family.

Ms Whitely roared on the show: “This is why I have a problem [with Charles].

“This is your son, number one, you have done dirt publicly how can you be mad at your son?

“When you had an affair on his mother, the whole time.”

The panel then said Charles invited Camilla to his wedding but at the time she was a family friend and that was expected.

Ms Stewart added to the point: “I just think the situation with the Royal Family right now is really sticky.

“Like, let’s do this off-limits and let’s make sure that we [talk about this].”

Royal author Robert Lacey warned the statue unveiling may be the best time for Prince Harry and William to reconcile as otherwise the statue unveiling will be an “empty gesture”.

There are reported fears from Royal Family members that they do not want to engage with Prince Harry as conversations could be leaked to the press.

Earlier this year, US journalist Gayle King was told conversations between Harry and William were “not productive” in the fall out of the Oprah Winfrey interview.

Mr Lacey also believes Charles, William and Harry did not have the two-hour crunch talk at Prince Philip’s funeral as was reported at the time.

He cited the leaking fears as the reason.
