‘They no longer speak’: Carol Smillie and Annabel Croft ‘locked in feud over shared underwear brand’
Former best friends Annabel Croft and Carol Smillie reportedly locked horns over the underwear brand they created together – according to a new report.
The pair are apparently no longer on speaking terms over the fiasco, which saw the Scottish presenter, 59, take over the whole company, called Diary Doll, with the tennis pro, 55, said to be ‘left in the lurch.’
Sources have claimed to The Sun that they had a huge disagreement on how the brand should be run.

A source for the The Sun on Sunday claimed: ‘Ultimately, Annabel felt pushed out. It’s a real shame as the women used to be so close and go on holiday together.’
‘They even formed the idea for the company during one vacation away but after the business fall-out they no longer speak. It really goes to show that you shouldn’t ever mix business with pleasure.’
MailOnline have contacted their representatives for further comment.

Carol and Annabel teamed up with their husbands to create the company, calling it Coleman and Knight.
Carol’s husband, Alex Knight, is a restaurateur, while Annabel’s spouse, Mel Coleman, is an investment banker.
In 2016, Annabel and Mel’s positions as directors were terminated, and then Carol set up business with High Street TV to promote a new brand called Pretty Clever Pants a year later.

On Carol’s website, she has cropped Annabel out from the promotional photo for the pants, and fails to mention her name in the copy.
Instead, it reads: ‘It went from a simple idea (aren’t all the best ones?) to a multi award winning brand of smart underwear with a secret waterproof panel, for life’s little leaks, giving confidence to women all over the world.’
Since then, Carol closed the business and now is a humanist celebrant at weddings.
