The Voice finale tops the TV ratings for Channel Seven with an impressive TWO MILLION viewers tuning in
The Voice tipped over two million viewers during Sunday night’s finale.
The Channel Seven singing competition pulled in an impressive 2.02 million viewers nationally for the winner announcement.
It capped off a highly successful season, which averaged above one million metro viewers per episode.

Viewers for this year’s finale were up 55 per cent on last year’s, and Sunday’s broadcast was also the most-watched finale since 2015.
In comparison, the finale of Australian Survivor: Brains vs Brawn, which aired on Channel 10 on Sunday, pulled in 1,057,000 viewers.
Survivor lagged behind Nine’s The Block, which had 1,726,000 total viewers.

Bella Taylor Smith was crowned the winner of this year’s season of The Voice, landing a recording contract with EMI Music and the $100,000 cash prize.
‘I really can’t believe it, I’m so thankful,’ the 23-year-old singing teacher from Guy Sebastian’s team said afterwards.
‘I can’t wait to see what incredible things are ahead for me. I’m really grateful for you [Guy], for everyone who voted and for my beautiful family who I love.’

Guy, 39, was particularly moved, saying: ‘I’m so proud. There are so many deserving people up there, but you are special, Bella. Go out there and kill it, I know you will.’
Following the announcement, Bella, who hails from Sydney, commanded attention as she performed her new single Higher.
All four coaches were blown away, with country music star Keith Urban remarking: ‘If you’re not a believer at this point, you’ve got to check your pulse. That was amazing.’
