The Masked Singer Australia: Ruby Rose lets slips who is behind the Dolly mask

Hollywood star Ruby Rose has revealed she’s convinced Em Rusciano is behind the Dolly costume on The Masked Singer Australia.

The 35-year-old actress, who is a super-fan of the Channel 10 reality show, offered her thoughts on the performers’ identities on Tuesday.

She wrote on Instagram: ‘If Dolly isn’t the fabulous Em Rusciano I will… I don’t know.’

‘IT HAS TO BE HER,’ she added decisively. 

The Orange Is the New Black star went on to say she is a huge fan of the show. 

Ruby’s comments align with fan speculation, with the majority of viewers on social media guessing Em is behind the mask.

Dolly has so far revealed several clues, including that they ‘made their mark’ in 2004 after missing out on their dream.

This is the same year Em placed ninth on Australian Idol’s second season.

Other clues included a photo of Sammy Davis Jr, three Baby Born dolls and a change of career.

After analysing these hints, viewers were immediately convinced the Emsolation podcast was behind the Dolly mask.

‘That is Em Rusciano no doubt,’ one person tweeted. ‘This has to be Em Rusciano,’ another agreed.  

One fan pieced together the clues so far, writing: ‘It’s Em for sure! In 2004 she finished ninth on Australian Idol and then went on to launch her career.

‘She has three kids [and] has a dark side to her humour. [She] loves her dress-ups and is definitely seen as a bit of a doll and young at heart for her age.’

Others had differing opinions about who Dolly could be.

One fan speculated it was former Olympic hurdler Jana Pittman, who now works in obstetrics and gynaecology.

Another guessed Dolly could be another Australian Idol alum, Ricki-Lee Coulter.
