She appeared to hang up on radio host Kyle Sandilands after he called her purple dyed hair as ‘ugly’.
But while Tanya Guccione apparently can’t take criticism, she sure can dish it out, based on a resurfaced video of The Block ‘villain’.
In the 2019 YouTube video, the 40-year-old stylist took part in a ‘roast’, critiquing red carpet looks at the Logies.

Joining stylist Daniel Paciocco on his YouTube channel, Tanya applied her hair and makeup design eye to various celebrities’ looks on Australian TV’s night of nights.
While many of Guccione’s comments were positive, she did give a particularly savage appraisal of Nine News’ Leila McKinnon’s gown.
‘She borrowed [Lady] Gaga’s dress before she became Gaga and was gigging at the pub,’ joked Tanya of Leila’s look.

She also singled out the newsreader’s ‘tulle shrug’ which she complained ‘took up the whole screen’.
Later in the video, The Block star slammed Neighbours star Bonnie Anderson’s hairstyle as ‘not red carpet’ appropriate.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Tanya’s surprise appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show went off the rails when host Sandilands made fun of her trademark purple hair and she appeared to hang up the phone.
Back with a bang! The Block villain appeared to ‘hang up’ on The Kyle and Jackie O show on Tuesday, before later saying it was due to technical difficulties
‘I thought the scandal part was excellent,’ Kyle, 50, said of the cheating saga. ‘Now, what are you going to do with that ugly hair? Are you getting rid of that purple-ness?’
‘There’s no need to have that – if you want to hide from the public, the first thing you do is get rid of the purple hair,’ he added.
‘Oh, that’s not nice!’ his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson responded. ‘Have you got the purple hair still?’
The phone line then went silent, and Kyle whispered: ‘She must have been offended… I think she cut out, mate.’

As the KIIS FM producers scrambled to get her back, one was heard saying: ‘Yeah… her house doesn’t have the best reception, one sec.’
‘Don’t go on about her hair! She’s a hairdresser,’ Jackie scolded Kyle.
Tanya, who has worked as a hair and makeup artist for years, later resumed the interview and blamed the disruption on technical difficulties.
It’s unclear if this was actually the case, however, because it sounded as if she hung up or passed the phone to someone else.

Regardless of what happened, she didn’t seem to be angry when she returned to the phone, telling the hosts: ‘I’m back, I just lost you right at the juicy part.’
Kyle was a little kinder for the rest of the interview, and told Tanya he only suggested she change her hair so she’s less recognisable in public.
‘I said if you want to hide from the public, the first thing you do is get rid of that purple hair,’ he said, smoothing things over.
‘It’s true, but you know I’m not going to let them [the trolls] win,’ she replied.

Tanya went on to reveal the public hadn’t been too hard on her since the cheating scandal came to light.
‘You know what’s really funny, we were in lockdown [and] I thought the second I leave the house, people are going to throw eggs at me,’ she said.
‘But everybody has been so kind.’
Tanya and her husband Vito found themselves at the centre of a cheating scandal early in the season after she obtained a photo of the show’s production schedule and shared it with Luke and Josh Packham.

Anyone who saw the photo had the advantage of being able to plan their specifications weeks in advance or pre-order something for a specific room.
The Gucciones and the Packham twins were each docked two points for a room reveal after the scandal was exposed.
Tanya broke down and finally took responsibility for taking the photo during the finale, after weeks of claiming an ‘anonymous tradie’ had sent it to her.
‘What I want to say is that I am obviously taking full responsibility for this situation and I am sorry, I am truly sorry. Yes, I did. I took the photograph,’ she said tearfully.
‘I am not a stupid woman but I did a stupid thing. We take responsibility for what happened and where it ended up after that was obviously out of my power, but I started it.’
