Tara Rushton and Cooper Cronk step out as a family with son Lennox after revealing baby news

Pregnant Tara Rushton steps out with husband Cooper Cronk and son Lennox, two, in Sydney after revealing they are expecting their second child

Tara Rushton and Cooper Cronk recently announced they are expecting their second child, a boy, together early next year.

And the happy couple, both 36, were spotted for the first time since revealing their baby joy on Sunday as they stepped out in Sydney’s North Shore suburb of Mosman.

Pregnant Tara looked relaxed as she strolled down a leafy footpath with her former NRL player husband and their two-year-old son, Lennox.

She kept her ensemble casual with a pair of olive-green tights, a dusty pink jumper and pair of Nike shoes, while carrying a canvas tote bag.

Her hair was loose and pushed back in a side-swept style.

Cooper meanwhile opted for a long sleeve T-shirt, white shorts and dark blue sneakers.

‘We always spoke about wanting two kids. We never really planned it in terms of timing, but we’re really happy,’ Cooper told The Daily Telegraph’s Stellar magazine.

Tara confirmed she was five months pregnant already, telling the publication the couple were able to conceal their pregnancy because ‘nobody asked’.

‘Somehow we’ve been able to conceal [the pregnancy] this time around. I think it’s because nobody asked!’ the Fox Sports presenter told Stellar.

Just like her first pregnancy, she has experienced some nausea, but the experience has been different as she has a toddler to chase after.

‘It definitely adds a different level of intensity when you’re chasing a fast-footed two-year-old around while pregnant,’ she said.

The high-profile pair tied the knot in a star-studded ceremony on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in December 2017 and welcomed Lennox the following July.

Cooper defected from the Melbourne Storm to the Sydney Rosters in order to be closer to Tara in 2019.

‘Tara, my fiancee, is based in Sydney and there’s a few things in life that are more important than football, like family, getting married and a future,’ he said at the time.
