Sylvia Jeffreys celebrates being fully vaccinated and says she’s ‘grateful’ to be protected against Covid-19
She recently said she couldn’t ‘bloody wait’ to get her second dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
And on Friday, Nine star Sylvia Jeffreys did just that and celebrated being fully vaccinated with a beaming photo posted to her Instagram Stories.
In the image, the 35-year-old can be seen smiling and giving the camera a thumbs up as she shows off the Band-Aid covering where she got the jab.

‘The happy face of a double vaxxed 30-something who is grateful to be protected,’ the Today Extra host wrote.
Sylvia then added ‘AZ’ for AztraZeneca and a flexing arm emoji.
The journalist revealed the touching reason why she was looking forward to getting vaccinated in a post back in late July.

Sylvia – who lives with her husband Peter Stefanovic and two children – shared a throwback video of her mother Janine cuddling her son Oscar, one, long before the pandemic worsened.
It shows her mother singing to Oscar in a rocking chair.
Sylvia said in the post that the sooner Covid-19 is brought to a halt, the sooner everyone gets to reunite with their loved ones and she can see her beloved mum, who lives in Queensland.

‘Three weeks and one day until I get my second AstraZeneca shot,’ the TV host wrote at the time.
‘The sooner we get this done, the sooner we can all be with the people we love,’ she added.
Sylvia joins a long list of celebrities who have rolled up their sleeves to get the AstraZeneca jab.
Others who have been vaccinated with AstraZeneca include comedian Andy Lee, Project host Lisa Wilkinson, Today entertainment reporter Brooke Boney and radio host Jackie O’ Henderson.
