‘This is very confusing’: Sunrise hosts Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch are stunned by radio host’s OnlyFans admission live on air

Millions of people around the country are currently claiming tax deductions for work-related expenses.

And on Wednesday, Sunrise co-hosts Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch joked that Australians should also be able to claim their OnlyFans subscriptions on tax.

The pair were discussing how taxpayers working from home are trying to claim their PJs with Sea FM breakfast host Bianca Dye and Sunrise commentator Justin Smith.

‘Some Aussies are taking their returns a bit too far by deducting the cost of washing pyjamas. The ATO says the only people who can do that are B1 and B2. Bianca, if you are working in your pyjamas, should you be able to claim them?’ Natalie asked.

‘Yes [you should]. Zoom calls have kept this country going for months… Everything should be able to be claimable, the ATO need to just claim down,’ Bianca said.

She added: ‘I’m talking salt and vinegar chips for your mental health, your OnlyFans account, Uber Eats. Everything should be claimable.’

‘Your OnlyFans account?’ Natalie questioned as she burst into laughter.

She then explained Kochie was going to reveal what Australians could claim on their tax deductions.

‘This is very confusing, we can’t work this out… You need to check whether OnlyFans is on there,’ Natalie said.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based website where content can range from something as innocent as a suggestive selfie all the way to hardcore pornography.

Love Island Australia alum Edyn ‘Mac’ Mackney joined OnlyFans last year after finding herself in need of cash during the Covid-19 recession.

She’s certainly not the only reality star on the platform, with Vanessa Sierra also creating raunchy content for paying subscribers.
