Tyler West dismissed any suggestion he may have found romance since starring on Strictly Come Dancing this year. Lorraine Kelly lavished him with praise on her ITV show but the DJ kept his cards close to his chest about any potential love interests.

Lorraine voiced her surprise at Tyler’s relationship status when he appeared on her show alongside professional dance partner Dianne Buswell.

The star is currently single and the presenter prodded him on the topic, saying: “Now look, you’re a beautiful young man I think we can all agree on that.”

Tyler interjected with: “No, Lorraine just called me a beautiful man, I can’t do that this morning, this is mad!”

She added: “First of all I cant believe you’re still single, that’s ridiculous, but you’re concentrating on your dancing and there’s no time for that malarky.

“That’s all well and good but maybe afterwards?”

Tyler agreed: “No, no, there’s no time for any of that. Spending time with yourself and have the best time right now.”

At the close of the interview, Lorraine could not resist a further tease to the Strictly star.

She added: “Keep doing what you’re doing but I cannot believe you’re single it is ridiculous.”

Her guest laughed off the comment again and remarked: “Don’t you start, don’t! Thank you Lorraine.”

The source told The Sun: “Everyone on the show is talking about how flirty the pair are.

“They’re both young and single and have really hit it off and so it feels like romance is on the cards. They always seem to be smiling and having a laugh.”

They added: “He has definitely impressed Molly with his sense of humour.”

Both of the celebrity hopefuls declined to comment when approached by Express.co.uk.

Molly addressed the rumours when she appeared on Good Morning Britain with her pro partner, Carlos Gu.

She told Charlotte Hawkins: “You know what, it is such a tight-knit group.

“Everyone is so close, we have Friday night takeaway, we’re all chatting and the pros are so lovely.

“Even the new guys, everyone is amazing.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 7pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
