    ‘I now hate music’: Simon Cowell becomes the cranky ‘Grey Wiggle’ as he joins children’s group The Wiggles for hilarious Uber Eats ad campaign

    Simon Cowell has transformed into the ‘Grey Wiggle’ in a new Uber Eats ad campaign. 

    The infamous British reality TV judge stars alongside children’s group The Wiggles in the serious of amusing commercials. 

    Blue Wiggle Anthony Field, Purple Wiggle Lachlan Gillespie, Red Wiggle Simon Pryce, and Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins all star alongside him.

    Simon also has a run in with Henry the Octopus, deadpanning that he wants ‘calamari’ for dinner. 

    In another ad, Simon ‘redecorates’ The Wiggles home in all grey, saying he was living in a ‘technicolour nightmare’. 

    ‘My eyes are sad,’ Emma replies, and Simon, sipping tea while sitting under a portrait of himself,  ‘You’re welcome’.

    Further clips show the band try and cheer him up by singing ‘the Grey Wiggle needs a hug!’     

    One ad has the group singing to Simon about what they’re having for dinner, delivered by Uber Eats. 

    ‘I’ve already eaten,’ he complains, before adding in his trademark grumpy voice, ‘Congratulations. I now hate music.’   

    The Britain’s Got Talent and X Factor UK judge goes on to slam The Wiggles musical prowess, and their ‘obsession with the temperature of potatoes’.

    Simon admitted he thought it was a joke when he was first offered the gig. 

    ‘I thought I was being wound up when they said (the campaign) was me and The Wiggles because I know who they are, obviously,’ he told The Herald Sun. 

    ‘It’s a crazy combination of me and them and it worked out great.’ 

    He added: ‘I’ll get to know them more now because I’ve got a son who’s seven years old. I really respect what The Wiggles have achieved.’
