He had to postpone his wedding to fiancée Sophie Austin due to the pandemic.
And Shayne Ward put on a loved-up display as he stepped out with the Hollyoaks actress, 36, to celebrate his 36th birthday on Saturday.
The former Coronation Street actor looked dapper in a tweed blazer and buttoned-up navy shirt for dinner at The Bull and Bear in Manchester.

Shayne paired his look with smart denim jeans with a tan leather belt and brogues for the occasion.
The father-of-one added a tweed flat cap with and put safety first with a khaki camouflage face mask.
Meanwhile Sophie cut a glamorous figure in a zebra-inspired midi dress which she paired with black court shoes for the special outing.

The brunette beauty styled her sleek locks into a side parting and accentuated her radiant complexion with a slick of gloss and bronzer over her cheekbones.
She draped a fur black coat over her shoulders and keep her jewellery to a minimum with her glittering engagement ring.
Earlier this year Shayne revealed that he was staying positive about the delay to the wedding because he and Sophie are ‘together for life’.

Appearing an edition of Lorraine in June, he said: ‘We spoke about it, that’s what’s nice about it, everything can wait and there’s no rush.
‘We can do it next year. We are together for life, that’s the same regardless.’
Shayne announced his engagement to Sophie in December 2017, exactly a year after the birth of their daughter.
The couple began dating in early 2016, after Sophie split from her husband, fellow actor Graeme Rooney.
The X Factor winner previously spoke out about his devotion to daughter Willow-May, three, saying he was ‘born to be a dad’.
He told the Daily Mirror: ‘It is my sole purpose. Everything else in life is a hobby. People say I was born to sing but I think I was born to be a dad.’
Sophie played Lindsey Butterfield on the hit Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks from June 2013 to May 2016.
The former Coronation Street star also discussed how he and Sophie were dealing with homeschooling Willow during the UK coronavirus lockdown.
He said: ‘Everything came to a stop, everyone was shocked but I think now everyone is getting into a routine with things.
‘With home-schooling, Sophie has been incredible with Willow, it’s become the great reset in a sense it’s inspired people, the thing we go through in life means we put things off. ‘
