Scott Speedman and his girlfriend Lindsay Rae Hofmann revealed Thursday that they had welcomed their first child late last month.
The 46-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actor and his 31-year-old girlfriend shared adorable first photos of their baby daughter Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman to Instagram while announcing she had been born on October 26.
Scott gazed lovingly into his daughter’s face as she snoozed peacefully in one sweet image.

‘Pfeiffer Lucia Speedman. Born at home 10/26/21,’ he captioned the post. ‘In awe of my girl @lindsayraehofmann. Awe.’
He complemented Pfeiffer’s pink hat with his own dark teal ski cap.
Another black-and-white photo showed him in a simple white T-shirt and sporting some designer stubble as he cradled his tiny daughter in his arm while she slept.

Lindsay, who cofounded Juillet Swimwear, shared her own post about Pfeiffer’s birth in which she explained how the couple named their daughter.
‘Our beautiful daughter was born at home on October 26th at 8:33am weighing 6.6lb,’ she shared in her caption.
‘Pfeiffer, for her heart to always feel connected to the nature and sea & Lucia, to forever be our little “light.”
‘We love you little Pfeiff,’ she concluded while tagging her boyfriend.
She included a photo of herself breastfeeding Pfeiffer, along with a lovely closeup in which the little girl covered her face with her tiny fist.
Lindsay also included an adorable black-and-white photo of her daughter’s foot.
Back on October 18, Scott said during a segment on The Drew Barrymore Show that his child could arrive ‘any day now.’
It turned out that he had more than a week to go, but he was already getting all the necessary supplies ready, including an inflatable pool for a home water birth.
‘This guy just delivered this tub and now I am in charge of blowing it up and getting water in and all of that stuff. It’s kind of a weird experience, I am not going to lie,’ he said.

Scott and Lindsay announced in May that they were expecting their first child with a photo of her growing baby bump under a translucent white dress.
Scott, who first appeared on Grey’s Anatomy as a guest in season 14 before getting bumped up to a regular cast member this season, has been dating Lindsay since 2017.
The day before they announced Pfeiffer’s birth, he was spotted on set opposite series star Ellen Pompeo.
He’s also featured in a recurring role on the newest season of Netflix’s hit thriller You, and prior to moving up on Grey’s Anatomy he starred in the first three seasons of TNT’s Animal Kingdom, which was inspired by the 2010 Australian crime film of the same name.
