The brutal scene set to air on SAS Australia: Ant Middleton berates Alicia Molik in foul-mouthed rant leaving her ‘trembling and crying’ – as another recruit says he ‘needs to go’

The explosive new season of SAS Australia is set to launch on Monday night.

And while the series is known for its no-nonsense berating of contestants, one incident is apparently set to leave audiences in shock.

According to New Idea, chief instructor Ant Middleton will leave tennis pro Alicia Molik ‘trembling and crying’ after branding her a ‘dumb c**t’ during an expletive rant.

In a trailer for the show, Ant was seen shouting centimetres from Alicia’s face after she failed to complete a challenge in the way he wanted.

One recruit, who wished to remain anonymous, told the publication on Monday: ‘He was standing nose-to-nose with her, virtually spitting in her face saying “You are a dumb c**t.”

‘Alicia was trembling and crying, and he just kept going at her. I think it was the worst dressing down I have witnessed and obviously the most shocking incident on this season’s show.’

Despite being aware that Ant often scold contestants in a fiery manner as part of the experience, the source said they thought this incident was ‘totally unacceptable,” adding: ‘Ant needs to go.’

‘I enjoyed training like a demon for that period of time and it was a great experience. But it was brutal and it’s torture and that is not fun at all.’

When asked if she enjoyed the experience, she responded: ‘I can’t say I enjoyed the course but I did enjoy the camaraderie with people you have never met before.’
