The first food recall is on packs of Knoppers Wafers.

The batch codes affected are B12N, B12M and B16C.

Sainsbury’s said in a statement: “It has been brought to our attention that packs of Knoppers Wafers that are overstickered and have been purchased at Sainsbury’s with the batch codes above, contain undeclared allergens.

“The affected batches have different labels and do not consistently highlight or declare peanuts, soya or milk on the packaging making them unsuitable for customers with an allergy to those ingredients.
