Ali G, a youth television worker and wannabe rapper from Staines, London, was known for his spoof interviews with celebrities, in which he asked inappropriate and often ridiculous questions
He famously asked astronaut Buzz Aldrin what it was like to ‘walk on the sun,’ and questioned British socialist MP Tony Benn if going on strike is the same as ‘pulling a sickie.’
The cheeky comic even asked Professor Sue Leece, director of the Centre for Gender Research, if another woman will be ‘allowed to slip through’ and become Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
Sacha is currently living in Sydney with his actress wife Isla Fisher and the couple’s three children.
