The Royal Family is bracing for Prince Harry’s new memoir set to be published on January 10. Penguin Random House revealed the book will be titled “Spare”, raising concerns about the content of the book. Royal biographer Angela Levin pushed back against the suggestion that Harry was viewed or treated like a spare when he was still a working royal.
She told GB News’ host Nana Akua: “He wasn’t treated like a spare. He was incredibly popular, the most popular next to the Queen.
“Because he was mischievous because he was fun. He was very lively.
“William’s got a much harder life because it is so demanding to be a King and to be an heir.”
The royal author said: “He has got what he wanted. He has got freedom as much as he likes, he has got a woman he absolutely adores, he has got children.
“He has got 16 bathrooms. It is really astonishing that he cannot say anything good despite having lots and lots of therapy.”
Angela Levin added that if Prince Harry is publishing the book “purely” for financial reasons, “then it is absolutely more shocking”.
She said: “He should have come to a border where he said: ‘I’m not going further’.”
