RHOBH star Erika Jayne's estranged husband Tom Girardi's law firm is more than $101 million in debt

Girardi Keese, the former legal firm of Tom Girardi, is in debt to creditors more than $101 million.

The finances of Girardi, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, were revealed in new court docs reviewed by People in the bankruptcy case involving the 82-year-old Colorado native.

The assets for the firm were listed as being worth $4.1 million – a $97 million gap between the firm’s liabilities, according to the court docs illustrating a probe done by a trustee in the case of the firm’s bankruptcy.

The latest: Girardi Keese, the former legal firm of Tom Girardi, 82, is in debt to creditors more than $101 million. The finances of Girardi, the estranged husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne, were revealed in new court docs  in the firm’s bankruptcy case 

The trustee said she needed to revise the totals, as Girardi’s ‘accounting offices were not well maintained,’ and that ‘much of what the trustee found upon her appointment was very dated.’

The trustee also showed that Girardi had given $25 million to the entertainment company owned by Jayne, 50.

The trustee’s findings might ‘not have listed all of the debtor’s causes of action or potential causes of action against third-parties as assets,’ according to court docs, as the ‘actual total may be different than the listed total.’

The firm has been selling off items from its Los Angeles office to garner funds to pay debt to creditors.

Girardi is also named in a class action lawsuit claiming fraud and embezzlement from the firm Edelson PC in connection with the 2018 Lion Air Flight 610 crash, in which all 189 people onboard died.

Girardi was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia in March, the same month his legal license in California was revoked, as he was disbarred last week.

Girardi was recently seen at a Burbank, California assisted living facility called Belmont Village Senior Living.

Jayne was heard on the Bravo show earlier this month speaking about Girardi’s business and health issues.

Jayne filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage last November 

‘I think what has happened to Tom here is that he’s not mentally capable, and he’s in sole control of his firm,’ she said on the reality show. ‘And I think that it got away from him. I think that we’re dealing with a man who is [at a] diminished capacity in control, and not doing the right thing. 

‘Because if he stole the money, I’d like to know where it is. You know, that’s the truth.’

Jayne issued a statement following her divorce filing after 21 years of marriage last November.

‘After much consideration, I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi,’ she said. ‘This is not a step taken lightly or easily. I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together.’
