Tonights panel will feature only four guests: Labour’s David Lammy, satirist Armando Lannucci, broadcaster Julia Hartley-Brewer and Tory’s Lucy Frazer. But viewers have joked that the lettuce who defeated Liz Truss should be invited onto the panel as the fifth seat as the show usually features a five person panel.
The Daily Star ran a stream of a competition between a lettuce and Liz Truss to see which had a longer shelf life.
Responding to this weeks panel Twitter user @Michael20782377 asked “can we have the lettuce on?”, later referring to the lettuce as “undefeated”.
User @Roy_Batty_Nexy_ 6 agreed adding: “Surely the lettuce that defeated Liz Truss should be invited onto the panel”.
