Only the lunchtime matches were able to be completed during another frustrating day in west London.
Juan Martin del Potro beat Denis Shapovalov, Feliciano Lopez overcame Marton Fucsovics and Jeremy Chardy dismissed Mikhail Kukushkin.
Stan Wawrinka and Dan Evans were then enjoying a brilliant battle on Centre Court when the heavens began to open.
Swiss star Wawrinka was 5-3 ahead and about to serve for the first set when the umpire called the players off court.
All other courts at the Fever-Tree Championships were also vacated as the covers were rolled on.
No play is due before 5pm but with an already heavily congested fixture list, a new order of play has been produced.
Court 3 will be used for matches for the first time this week as tournament organisers attempt to spread the remaining ties across five courts.
It means Nick Kyrgios has been pushed down to Court 2, if the weather shows any reprieve.
