The Queen is mourning the death of Sir Timothy Colman, who died last week aged 91. Her Majesty and Sir Timothy were believed to be close friends.
Sir Timothy, who died on September 9, married Lady Mary Colman, born Bowes-Lyon – a niece of the Queen Mother and cousin of the Queen.
The monarch spent much of her childhood together with Lady Mary, who died in January.
