Puerto Rico power: More than 50% of country affected by outage after huge fire

Thousands were left in the dark on Thursday after a fire broke out at the Monacillo power plant in the San Juan area of Puerto Rico.

According to reports, the fire started after an explosion.

Several mayors have declared a state of emergency and delivered generators and ice to people before the fire was declared.
