Royal watchers have described how new photographs of Prince Andrew “[made their] skin crawl”. The Duke of York was recently pictured riding around the Royal Family’s Windsor estate, where he is living with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, at the moment. Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Rachel Bowie and Roberta Fiorito expressed their frustration at the images.
Ms Bowie continued: “My low of the week were the pictures of Prince Andrew out horseback riding.
“He’s throwing his head back and laughing.
“He was out on the grounds of Windsor Castle, wearing a navy blue jacket with the royal insignia on it.
“He’s got to be laughing at the fact that everyone is so focused on William and Harry’s drama.”

She continued: “The spotlight is off of him and he’s kind of succeeding in that.
“I ended up going back and re-watching his BBC interview.
“It’s awful. There should be a lot more coverage about that than Meghan.”
Ms Fiorito added: “The laugh did feel very supervillain-esque.”
In a statement, the royal said: “It has become clear to me over the last few days that the circumstances relating to my former association with Jeffrey Epstein has become a major disruption to my family’s work and the valuable work going on in the many organisations and charities that I am proud to support.
“Therefore, I have asked Her Majesty if I may step back from public duties for the foreseeable future, and she has given her permission.
“I continue to unequivocally regret my ill-judged association with Jeffrey Epstein. His suicide has left many unanswered questions, particularly for his victims, and I deeply sympathise with everyone who has been affected and wants some form of closure. I can only hope that, in time, they will be able to rebuild their lives. Of course, I am willing to help any appropriate law enforcement agency with their investigations, if required.”
