PREGNANT Bachelor star Jamie Otis has told how she is “praying to god” after doctors found possible signs of cancer.
The reality TV star revealed medics discovered “abnormal”cells – but she must wait until after giving birth to have a biopsy.
She also talked about being diagnosed with HPV before doctors told her they had found dysplasia.
She wrote: “I know this is somewhat common and not to be overly worried about. I was scheduled to have a colposcopy just to take a better look at the skin cells in my vagina.”
“Also, not really a big deal as long as the doc doesn’t see dysplasia…if she does then it could be a sign of early cancer.”
“At that point I didn’t know whether to worry or not. It could be absolutely nothing.”
She then revealed that the doctor did find dysplasia and that they will have to wait until after she gave birth to do a biopsy.
Dysplasia is often considered an early stage symptom of cervical cancer.
She continued: “My head’s been all over the place. Thoughts go from ‘I’m sure I’m fine. I had this with Gracie too.’ But then I can’t help but wonder, ‘What if?!’”

The Married At First Sight alum also posted a video on her YouTube channel talking about the experience.
She told the camera while at the doctor’s office: “There’s really not a lot I can do because I’m pregnant and we don’t want to do anything to harm this baby.”
The 33-year-old mother of one also opened up about recently meeting her father for the first time and how he consoled her.
She told her viewers: “He said ‘Don’t worry, cancer doesn’t run on our side of the family.’”
“So I’m pretty confident, it doesn’t run on my mother’s side either.”
Jamie crossed her fingers, hoping that she was ok[/caption]
She went on to say this is the second time she’s had a bad Pap smear and crossed her fingers hoping things would come out normal.
She said: “They can do a procedure and get rid of the bad tissue, but I’m pregnant so you can’t do that, so it would just sit there.”
She also expressed her sentiments to the women who were going through the same situation as her and actually faced a life-or-death diagnosis.
