In the coming months, Poundland customers can expect “new openings, extensions, conversions and the rapid rollout of chilled and frozen food,” according to the retailer.
While many retailers across the country are downsizing and “retreating from town centres”, this variety store has big plans to expand.
With already more than 800 UK stores, Poundland aims to open seven more in 2021.
Four stores will open in England: Rayleigh (Essex), Southampton West Quay, Durham Arnison Retail Park and Huddersfield Retail Park.
