Pia Miller reveals she has plans to move to Los Angeles to be with husband Patrick Whitesell

Former Home and Away star and model Pia Miller recently made headlines for officially changing her name on social media and taking on husband Patrick Whitesell’s surname. 

And now Pia, 37, has revealed that she is planning to move permanently to Los Angeles to be with her man after they secretly tied the knot. 

They Sydney-based stunner shared the news on Instagram on Thursday while doing a Q&A with fans.

‘Plans to move to L.A?’ one fan asked her. 

She replied: ‘YES.’

Pia recently hinted about her big move in a comment on Instagram to a friend, when they asked about her going to LA for dinner.

‘Do a repeat in LA??’ they asked. 

Pia replied: ‘For sure! Can’t wait to see you soon! The big move is fast approaching!’

Earlier this month meanwhile, Pia changed her name on Instagram to Pia Whitesell. 

She has been using her ex-husband Brad Miller’s last name for years. 

While she is yet to publicly comment on her nuptials with Patrick, 56, her decision to update her online moniker all but confirms her marital status.  

In June, the former Home and Away star – who went by her maiden name Loyola in her early career – was photographed wearing a wedding ring in Sydney.

The sighting came not long after Pia hinted something special had happened ’90 days’ ago in an Instagram post.  

According to The Daily Telegraph, the pair were recently seen ‘celebrating their newlywed status’ with a takeaway dinner from the CicciaBella restaurant in Bondi.

Meanwhile, a friend of the couple, Sydney socialite Nina O’Brien, also let slip they’d tied the knot in a comment she posted on Instagram.

‘Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. PPW,’ Nina wrote, referencing the pair’s initials.

Nina also commented on another photo Pia shared to Instagram in April, which showed Patrick wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring.

She wrote underneath the image: ‘Hello Mr and Mrs P.’

Unfortunately, the newlyweds have been forced to spend a large period of their marriage apart due to Covid-19 border closures.

Pia is based in Sydney with her sons, Isaiah, 18, and Lennox, 13, while Patrick is currently working in Los Angeles.
