The NFL Draft is a chance where every team in the league is given a position in the drafting order that is dependent on how they performed in the previous year to pick players with the aim of improving their roster.

As a result the New England Patriots, who won last season’s Super Bowl, picked last and the worst-performing team, the Arizona Cardinals, picked first.

The Cardinals kicked off the night with the No 1 overall pick and as many predicted took Kyler Murray.

The 2018 Heisman Trophy winner might have his critics, but also has numerous plaudits gushing over his throwing arm and rushing abilities.

Next up were the San Francisco 49ers and they took Nick Bosa.

The 49ers hadn’t hidden the fact they were looking to add another pass rusher to their roster and were happy to have the opportunity to take the Ohio State defensive linesman.

The New York Jets took Quinnen Williams who is one of the draft classes most impressive defensive ends.

And the former Alabama star has already drawn comparisons to how he plays with last season’s NFL sack leader, Los Angeles Rams’ Aaron Donald.
