NBA star Anthony Davis marries partner Marlen P at ceremony attended by star-studded guest list

NBA superstar Anthony Davis tied the knot with his longtime partner, Marlen P, and celebrities from across the entertainment spectrum came out to celebrate the event. 

Among the invited guests were Davis’ Lakers teammates LeBron James and Russell Westbrook, University of Kentucky basketball coach John Calipari and multiple Grammy award winning singer Adele. 

The first overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft wore a traditional black tuxedo with a white button-down shirt during the ceremony, and his wife wore a tight, low-cut white wedding gown.

Costume change: Davis changed into a black dinner suit and Jordans before stepping out on the dance floor and serenading his new wife

Davis decided to change his ensemble before the reception. He changed into a smart black dinner suit with a similarly colored black button-down and gray slacks. 

The 6ft10in behemoth then took to the dance floor with his new wife and sang Never Make A Promise while the pair danced. 

Though the couple are now officially married, they’ve been committed to one another for quite some time now.

Saturdays are for the boys: Davis’ wedding was attended other players he’s played alongside such as LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Jared Dudley

While they have remained out of the spotlight for the the most part, a few key facts are known about their relationship. 

The two started dating in either 2016 or 2017 though they made their first public appearance together at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in 2020. 

They have a daughter, Nala, who was born in 2017.  

Committed: While they just got married, the couple was already committed as they have a four-year-old daughter together

Here comes the pride: She beamed as she held onto a bouquet of white roses

Though the focus remained on the happy couple throughout the night, another couple at the wedding also took their relationship to the next step. 

Adele went Instagram official with her boyfriend Rich Paul, a sports agent, in pictures she posted in the dress she wore. She captioned the photo with a very simple heart emoji.  

Paul, 39, represents Davis as well as other sports stars such as LeBron James, Ben Simmons and John Wall. 

The Rolling in the Deep singer and her new beau were first seen together in July of this year. Her divorce from Simon Konecki was finalized in March.
