The 27-year-old model addressed the Australian government’s slow roll out of the vaccine as she led arrivals at Australian Fashion Week’s Bondi Born show in Sydney, on Monday.

She stepped out in a chic oversized blazer that hid her mini outfit underneath, which she teamed with Fendi heels and red crossbody bag for a pop of colour.

She opted to highlight her natural beauty with minimal make-up including a radiant base, a hint of peach blush and lashings of mascara.

When asked by Daily Mail Australia about the vaccine roll out, she said: ‘I think if [the government] can do the best they can and hopefully roll a little bit more out, that would be great.’

She acknowledged that Melbourne’s current state of lockdown could be the catalyst that sees the jab distributed to more people and sooner.

‘Maybe even what’s happening right now [in Melbourne] might push it faster and hopefully people can get the idea that we all need to get vaccinated to get through this.’

When asked about the Victorian government’s decision to do a lockdown in response to the fourth outbreak, Montana said: ‘I think it’s kind of a necessary thing to do because you want to stop [the virus] in its tracks before it gets any worse.

‘I think as much as its exhausting and tiring, I feel sorry for the Melbournians going through it all, but I think its the necessary option to take to get on top of it,’ she added.

Experience: The Melbourne-raised stunner told Daily Mail Australia she was unaware she even had the virus. 'It was actually quiet fine, the first time I had it I didn't even know that I had had it. The second time, it was quite debilitating I couldn't really get out of bed,' she said

Her thoughts come after her own ‘debilitating’ experience contracting the virus, while living and working in London last year.

The Melbourne-raised stunner told Daily Mail Australia on Monday that she was unaware she even had the virus.

‘It was actually quiet fine, the first time I had it I didn’t even know that I had had it. The second time, it was quite debilitating I couldn’t really get out of bed,’ she said.

‘It was pretty much like a flu anyway, it didn’t affect me too much because I think I’m quite young and fit. It wasn’t too bad for me, hopefully I won’t get it a third time,’ she added.
