    Discussing her body language further, the expert continued: “Her breathing was deep and laboured and she had her hands clasped in front of her.

    “This is what we call a pacifier gesture or a self-reassurance gesture, like a self-hug – it signifies a lack in confidence and a feeling of uncertainty.

    “We haven’t seen Molly adopt this posture before, so this is probably the most nervous she has been in the competition.

    “You’ll notice that at times Molly’s nostrils were flaring a little – a sign linked to anger, suggesting she didn’t feel she deserved to be in the bottom two.”
