    Dungeons & Dragons is being made into a live action movie.

    And Michelle Rodriguez got into character wearing a reflective visor as filming began for the movie at Wells Cathedral in Somerset on Friday.

    The actress, 42, wore a multicoloured silk robe, brown trousers and long boots as she got to work filming scenes.

    Other characters on set included several men in elaborate silver armour and a man in a red head piece and dramatic gown. 

    Also starring in the production are Hugh Grant, Chris Pine, Justice Smith and Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page, though they were not seen on Friday.

    Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game originally designed by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson.

    It was first published in 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules, Inc. and has been published by Wizards of the Coast since 1997. 

    This version of Dungeons & Dragons has been in the works for many years with Ansel Elgort once attached and Rob Letterman set to direct.

    After a legal battle between Sweetpea Entertainment and Hasbro about ownership rights, the film was moved to Paramount, according to Variety. 

    Chris McKay was brought in as a director before he left the project. 

    In 2019, Goldstein and Daley came in.

    Michelle is best known for her role of Letty in the long running Fast & Furious franchise. She reprises the role in the next instalment F9, which comes out later this year.
