Wil initially tried to sell the house for around $3.1 million towards the end of last year, after deciding to relocate to Goonengerry, near Byron Bay, with his partner, Amy Williamson.

The move was decided after he finished co-hosting the Triple M breakfast show.

After finding no buyers, the property asking price was reduced and Greg Hocking took over the reins from the previous agents – Jodie J Hill and Fahey Younger.

Greg Hocking director Greg Hocking and agent Tony Gaudy have confirmed the 143 Cruikshank Street pad is still under contract.

Mr Gaudry said that there were a number of parties interested in the property, but a young family looking for more space scooped it up quick.

“This one looked like good value in their eyes,” he said.
