Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a new photograph from their recent visit to the UK where the Duchess of Sussex can be seen wearing a red outfit. The picture was taken ahead of the One Young World Summit in Manchester last month.
The photograph was shared on social media by the couple’s friend, photographer Misan Harriman.
Mr Harriman said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moments before attending the opening ceremony of OneYoungWorld last month.”
The snap showed Prince Harry and Meghan side-by-side holding hands in Bridgewater Hall, in Manchester.
Meghan can be seen wearing a Valentino tie-neck silk blouse and matching red trousers.

The description of the blouse on the designer’s website explained: “Endless styling opportunities await with this bright-orange blouse from Valentino.
“It’s made in Italy from the label’s fluid silk-based cady couture, and has an elegant self-tie neck and an additional button closure at the nape.”
As for the trousers, they were described as “lipstick-red pants” and a “timeless” option.
“The high-rise style is cut to straight-legs, tailored with pressed pleats, and made from wool blended with silk fibres,” the website stated.
DON’T MISS
The trousers and the blouse, which featured buttoned cuffs and a long tie which Meghan had draped over one shoulder, are priced at £1,200 each.
The Duchess of Sussex accessorised the powerful look with a chunky pair of gold earrings from Tabayer Oera, which retail for £2,850.
According to style expert Daena Borrowman, social and digital marketing manager at jewellerybox, Meghan chose to wear red for the photograph with Prince Harry as a “power move”.
She explained: “Meghan Markle’s top-to-toe red outfit was a power move and very much her style.

“The colour red symbolises strength, passion, energy, growth and prosperity.
“Meghan looked powerful and glamorous (unapologetically herself!) in the tonal ensemble which perfectly complemented her radiant complexion.
“She is clearly confident in her role and unafraid to command the attention of a room when championing gender equality.”
The Duchess of Sussex often wears red for public appearances and it is believed to be one of her favourite outfit colours.
Body language expert Darren Stanton, on behalf of Betfair, commented on why Meghan is a fan of the fiery hue.
He explained: “For her speech [in Manchester], knowing she would be centre stage, Meghan chose the shade of red, an extremely powerful colour, one that denotes being supremely confident and is often associated with superheroes.
“Wearing such a colour shows the mindset Meghan wanted to adopt for that particular event.
“Wearing red has long been associated with our primal survival and signifies strength and resilience,” he added.
