Meghan Markle reveals rare insight into royal wedding to Prince Harry

Meghan and Harry have personally recorded the audio guide for the exhibition on their wedding last May, as reported by People. Meghan, whose official title in Scotland is Countess of Dumbarton, says: “We knew how large the scale of the event would be, so in making choices that were really personal and meaningful, it could make the whole experience feel intimate.” The Duchess of Sussex’s wedding dress and the tiara lent by the Queen will be on display.

Harry, who get permission from the Queen to wear the Household Cavalry uniform, has his outfit on display and explains why he wanted that for the big day: “It’s one of my favourites, and I was very fortunate to be able to wear that on the day.”

Harry’s nephew and niece Prince George and Princess Charlotte have their page and bridesmaid outfits on display.

Both have their initials stitched in, George on his shoulder and Charlotte on her shoes.

Meghan reveals this was Harry’s idea and adds: “Such a beautiful keepsake for them.”

Harry jokes in the recording: “We had 10 bridesmaids and page boys under the age of 7, which everybody says is impossible to have them behaving, but they did it!”

Meghan agreed, adding: “It was a miracle!”

The wedding took place on May 19 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle with Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury officiating.

Harry chose older brother William to be his best man, while Prince Charles accompanied Meghan down the aisle after father Thomas Markle had heart surgery.
