MEGHAN Markle stepped out in royal blue today to mark her first public appearance since the birth of baby Archie Harrison four weeks ago.
Sharing a carriage with husband Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and mother-in-law the Duchess of Cornwall, the new mum waved to the adoring crowds.
But while many were captivated by her royal blue Givenchy gown, some eagle-eyed Royal fans noticed Meghan was wearing a THIRD ring on her wedding finger.
Alongside Meghan’s gold banded three-stone engagement ring, which includes two diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection, and her plain gold wedding band, the Duchess had another gold ring.
The jewellery’s debut has seen speculation that she was gifted the ring by her husband as a ‘push present’ – a popular phenomenon where dads mark the occasion of their partner’s birth.
It’s not a new custom for the Royals, as Prince William is reported to have given Kate Middleton a white gold eternity ring after the birth of their first son, George.
And he didn’t stop with that – as after Princess Charlotte’s birth, the Duke of Cambridge is thought to have given his wife a pair of Kiki McDonough earrings.
While she’s yet to give us a full glimpse of the supposed present, Meghan’s new ring looks like a simple band of pave-set diamonds.
It’s not known when the Duchess received the gift, but it’s thought to be some time after the Royal couple debuted their son Archie Harrison, when she appeared wearing only two rings.
As Harry had designed her engagement ring himself, however, it’s plausible that the Prince and father-of-one designed the ring as a gift for his wife.
