Meet Scherri-Lee Biggs: The stunning weather presenter and former Miss Universe Australia who is now stealing the show on The Celebrity Apprentice

The brand new season of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia is a ratings winner for Channel Nine right now.

And one of the standout stars of the show is arguably Scherri-Lee Biggs, who entered the competition as an intruder earlier this week.

The former model, 30, first shot to fame when she won Miss Universe Australia in 2011.

She then went on to represent Australia in the Miss Universe 2011 pageant, where she placed in the top 10.

The South African-born beauty, who immigrated to Australia as a child, has now carved out a career in television.

She got her first break in TV as a sports and travel presenter for Seven News in Melbourne.

After that, she relocated back home to Perth to become the new weather presenter on Nine News Perth replacing Sally Ayhan.

For a period of time, she made headlines for becoming a WAG after dating AFL star Brad Sheppard from the West Coast Eagles.

The former couple dated for 18 months and split after a seemingly romantic European holiday during the AFL break in October 2019.

Scherri-Lee is now back in the spotlight thanks to her current stint on the Celebrity Apprentice.

‘It’s such a thrill and a real privilege to join the superb line-up,’ she told WAtoday last October.

‘I’m ready to step out of my comfort zone and tackle any twists and turns that are bound to come my way,’ she continued.

‘Yes, Lord Sugar might seem intimidating, but I’m a lady on a mission, focused on raising big bucks for charity.’

The blonde beauty has already lifted the Celebrity Apprentice, with her first episode of the show, which aired on Sunday, bringing a ratings high for the season.

Outside of her TV work, Scherri-Lee also works as a professional speaker and host for events.
