She became the breakout star of Married At First Sight’s fourth season thanks to her controversial love triangle with Jonathan Troughton and Andrew ‘Jonesy’ Jones.
But Cheryl Maitland looks very different to her days as the fresh-faced reality star fans may remember.
The Queensland-based influencer, 30, surfaced on social media on Tuesday to show off her four-year transformation, after undergoing a range of cosmetic procedures.

While appearing on the show, Cheryl sported a much stronger jawline and overly-puffy lips.
Her eyebrows also sat lower on her face, while her chin jutted forward at a pointier angle.
Cheryl received plenty of criticism for her look at the time, with fellow contestant Michelle Marsh even referring to her as a ‘Shrek princess’ during the first episode.

The former brunette has also transformed her appearance with a much lighter hair colour in recent years.
Cheryl has been open about her use of fillers and Botox in the past.

In 2019, she admitted she was unhappy with her look and had chosen to dissolve her fillers in favour of a more natural look.
Posting a series of before-and-after photos to Instagram, Cheryl explained: ATTENTION LADIES. After visiting another clinic on the Gold Coast and not being happy with my results I decided to go get consults elsewhere.’
Cheryl said she felt ‘overdone and horrible’ after noticing she had ‘so many lumps’ in her lips and that the Botox in her forehead that wasn’t ‘done correctly’.

After finally finding a cosmetic injector she liked, Cheryl said: ‘We decided to dissolve all my lip filler and focus on my chin and smaller lips and honestly I’ve never been so happy and confident with my overall look.’
‘All other injectors said they would put more in my lips. Bigger lips isn’t always the best look as you can see in my before-and-afters,’ she added.
She changed her look again in January 2021 by getting porcelain veneers.

‘It’s something I wanted done, and I’m so happy with the results,’ she wrote on Instagram next to before-and-after images of her new smile.
On MAFS, Cheryl ‘married’ her on-screen husband Jonathan Troughton, but the pair didn’t make it past the first commitment ceremony.
The Scottish-born reality star was allowed to go on a date with fellow participant Andrew ‘Jonesy’ Jones, who was ditched by his bride earlier on the show.
However, the couple failed to spark romance, leaving Cheryl once again single and heartbroken.
After MAFS Cheryl began dating Melbourne plumber Dean Gibbs after in March 2017 and the couple have been together ever since.
