Love Island reunion 2021: ‘Not my finest moment’: Faye is forced to watch back THAT row with Teddy as Chloe admits she was ‘terrified’ during rant that sparked 25,000 Ofcom complaints

This year’s Love Islanders were reunited on Sunday night, when Laura Whitmore hosted the show’s reunion on ITV2.

During the show, Faye and her boyfriend Teddy – who placed third during last month’s final – were asked about their explosive row in August, an incident that racked up a record-breaking 24,763 Ofcom complaints and prompted viewers to demand Faye’s removal from the villa.

After watching footage of her expletive-ridden rant, Faye admitted: ‘I would have been complaining about it too. Not my finest moment.’ Chloe was later asked why none of the girls spoke up during the argument, with the bombshell telling Laura: ‘We were terrified. No one wanted to get in the way.’

Keen to clarify that he and Faye have left the moment firmly in the past, Teddy said on Sunday: ‘We’ve moved on so far from it.’

Teddy and Faye put on a loved-up display throughout the night.

Pre-recorded footage revealed that he had been spending time in Devon with Faye and her family.

Faye and Teddy’s infamous argument took place in August when Faye let rip at Teddy after watching a clip of him in Casa Amor.

The video, shown during the islander’s Movie Night challenge, saw Teddy tell fellow contestant Clarisse that he was ‘sexually attracted’ to her.

Faye’s rant – branded ‘horrendous’, ‘abusive’, and ‘gaslighting’ by fans of the show – resulted in the most expletive-ridden episode ever, with reports that contestants swore 125 times, while Faye is said to have said ‘f**k’ 57 times.

And in the aftermath of the explosive scenes, Ofcom confirmed the episode received nearly 25,000 complaints.

Elsewhere on Sunday’s reunion, winners Liam and Millie were reunited with the Welsh bricklayer’s former Casa Amor flame Lillie.

The situation quickly turned awkward, with Lillie insisting Millie and her boyfriend are ‘a picture perfect couple’ after Millie was made to watch uncomfortable footage of the moment she found out Lillie and Liam had shared a kiss.

Trying to smooth over the situation as the trio were interviewed by host Laura Whitmore, Liam told Lillie: ‘You’re a nice person, I’m a nice person. We can be friends, how’s that?’ while Millie sat in silence.
