On each occasion, the suspect cycled up behind the victim and either exposed himself or carrying out a sexual assault. The series of indecent exposures occurred between August 30 and September 29 and have mostly taken place in the Tower Hamlets area in east London.

The spate of attacks has prompted the Met Police to release CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.

Sharing a grainy image of the man, Tower Hamlets Police Twitter account wrote: “We’re investigating a series of indecent exposure and sexual assault offences in Tower Hamlets and need to trace the man in this image.

“If you can help, please call 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD286/29SEP21.”

The force reported that on four of the occasions the male suspect is also alleged to have masturbated.
