The ageless actress attended the event at the Estée Lauder headquarters in London to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the companies’ campaign which is fighting to put an end to breast cancer and encouraging people to get checked.
Liz stunned in the hot pink midi dress that perfectly clung to her enviable figure. The ensemble featured a caped sleeve and she added a pair of fuchsia strappy heels and some dazzling drop earrings.
At the event, Liz explained that the cause is special to her because she lost her own grandmother to the disease after she put off going to the doctor.
She said: “I lost my beloved grandmother to breast cancer – she put off going to the doctor for a year and never spoke about it. Now, three decades later, it’s encouraging to see that breast cancer is not the taboo it once was.
“More people are talking about it and awareness levels and access to information about breast cancer have significantly increased. But we still need to do more to improve self-checking rates as we know that early detection saves lives.”
The Estée Lauder Companies Charitable Foundation is also donating £13.4m ($15m) over five years to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to fund groundbreaking research addressing breast cancer disparities.
