Liverpool manager revelation – Harry Redknapp reveals he WANTS Jurgen Klopp's job

Redknapp, 72, has not managed a club since being sacked as Birmingham boss in September 2017.

At the time the former Tottenham and Portsmouth manager claimed the St Andrews job could be his last in management.

Since then he has continued working as a TV pundit as well as becoming the king of the jungle on reality show I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

But when asked which job could bring him back to the Premier League, he only had one answer.

“Liverpool,” he told Yahoo Sport UK.

“No, never going to happen obviously, I’m not stupid.

“But if you’d have asked me I would have loved to have managed Liverpool.

“I don’t know, there’s an atmosphere, the other night when they were singing.

“It makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand, it really does.

“I just think it’s an amazing place to be.

“The atmosphere is different to anywhere else.”

So was it ever close to happening?

“No, never [came close to managing Liverpool],” Redknapp added.

“Maybe I dreamed about it but it never happened.”

The Premier League title race is going down to the final day of the season, so who is Redknapp backing?

“I think Man City are going to win it, I want Liverpool to win it,” he said.
